Corporate Volunteering

Corporate volunteer days with FoTHCP get people out of the office and into the woods for fun and meaningful activities to develop team work, problem-solving and communication skills. Our unique team-building days suit organisations of all sizes to help deliver your corporate social responsibility needs.

*Please note that due to our ever increasing popularity and in an effort to encourage groups to visit us outside of the more popular summer months we are aiming to welcome teams between the months of May to September that can donate £30 per head.  During October to April the expected donation is reduced to £25 per head*

'On behalf of the whole Barclays Team that spent the day with you we would like to thank you personally for all the effort and time you spent into making our day with you as efficient and fun. I have organised a number of Community Days and the time we spent with you was brilliant, I loved the way you told us all about the history of the Park before we started so that we got a true feeling of how we were helping to keep the history and the future of the park alive.' - Karen, Barclays

What to expect

We focus on urgent, seasonal tasks and projects. Due to the size and uniqueness of our site, we can take large numbers of volunteers to perform many seasonal tasks from tree planting and felling in Winter, to bramble pulling and footpath repairs in Summer. We always aim to provide interesting and varied tasks to provide a great experience for visiting organisations.

Physical tasks encourage motivation, boost staff morale and provide a huge sense of achievement. As well as getting an excellent work out, corporate volunteers contribute greatly to the important nature conservation work we do in the park which directly benefits wildlife, local residents and school groups who use the park every day.

Winter Volunteering

This winter, we would like to invite you to join us at the park for a day of volunteering and activities; uniquely organised for you and your team. The park might be quieter but there is still lots of essential work taking place to keep everything running and prepare for the next year. We will spend the morning doing volunteering activities such as small tree felling, dead hedge building or selective weeding and then in the afternoon we will arrange an activity for your team - such as developing wood work skills, bush craft & survival, making festive wreaths or a building a campfire. These activities are great for team building and well-being; while enjoying the beauty of the park in the winter.

Please contact Suzanna and Ken, using the form below, to inquire about possible winter volunteering activities and we'd be delighted to discuss your objectives and options.
